Lead is a serious problem in our drinking water supplies.  The sources of lead are lead pipes or lead solder used on copper pipes.  Lead can also result from pollution of the water supply,  or it can be a natural source.  In any event,  lead is bio-accumulated in your body, and can lead to brain damage,   especially for children.
