Membrane filtration
down to 0.01 microns is not as fine as Reverse Osmosis membrane filtration,
however if you are looking to treat large volumes of water such as a you
whole house, a hospital, or the supply to school or public building,
then membrane filtration is ideal. At 0.03 microns the filter will not
remove the minerals from the water, however it will remove bacteria, pyrogens and 99.9% of all viri from the water.
Membrane system are also very simple, basically it is plug in and use, the systems are all automatic and self cleaning, and will give many years of trouble free use. |

| What is reverse osmosis | |||||||||||||||||||||
Reverse osmosis ( RO) is basically the filtration of water through a very fine membrane. Water is applied to the unit at a minimum of 50psi and maximum of 120 psi. The filtered water passes through the membrane, a second portion of the water passes straight through the unit and carries with it the contaminants that have been removed from the filtered water. The level of filtration is so fine that individual ions and molecules are removed from the water. This process therefore provides you with the highest level of filtration and the greatest degree of protection. It also produces great tasting water, even if the untreated tap water is dreadful. |

Buy a TDS Meter You will want to know how well your reverse osmosis systems is working. We have available a TDS meter that will measure the concentration of dissolved solids in the water. Just measure the water before and after your reverse osmosis systems to see how well the unit is working.
